About the role:

My client is seeking a dynamic and driven General Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive ambitious revenue targets. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker, passionate about premium motorcycles, and skilled in inspiring and managing a high-performing team of Sales Executives. This role combines leadership, sales strategy, and operational management to deliver an outstanding customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieving Sales Targets: Consistently meet or exceed sales and revenue targets for new and used motorcycles and accessories.
  • Team Leadership: Motivate, coach, and develop the sales team, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to perform at their best.
  • Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to foster loyalty and repeat business.
  • Sales Processes: Oversee and optimize sales operations, including lead management and sales processes.
  • Market Knowledge: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activity, and dealership product offerings.
  • Financial Services: Promote and manage retail financing and insurance products to increase dealership profitability.
  • Marketing & Dealer Relations: Support marketing initiatives and manage relationships with Group dealers.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Senior Certificate
  • Business diploma or tertiary qualification in Management, Marketing, or Sales preferred
  • 3-5 years' experience managing successful sales teams within the automotive retail sector
  • 7-10 years' experience in a sales environment
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and online sales principles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Valid drivers license (motorcycle license advantageous)
