Senior Quantity Surveyor (Mining)

Site-based / Hybrid / Office-based (depending on project requirements)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage project budgets, forecasts, cost reports, and cash flow

• Control expenditure and identify cost risks and opportunities

• Administer contracts (EPC, EPCM, remeasurement, schedules of rates)

• Prepare and negotiate variations, claims, and final accounts

• Support procurement, tender evaluations, and subcontract management

• Produce monthly cost reports and provide commercial advice to leadership

• Ensure compliance with contracts, company procedures, and mining standards

Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or related

• 8 years or more QS experience with strong mining project exposure

• Proven experience managing large contracts and complex budgets

• Solid contract law knowledge and advanced cost reporting skills

• Platinum Mine Experience

• 
  

Advantageous

• Professional registration (RICS, AIQS, CIOB, or equivalent)

• Experience mentoring junior staff
