Project Manager (Engineering & Technology Projects

A fast-growing R&D company specialising in advanced electro-optical systems and machine learning technologies is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their team. Youll work in a collaborative, hands-on environment delivering cutting-edge technology with applications across civilian, security, and select defence domains.

What Youll Be Responsible For

You will lead and manage a portfolio of technical and engineering projects, including:

• Product and system development projects

• Production and industrialisation projects

• Support and lifecycle management initiatives

Your role will span the full project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with product development strategy, systems engineering requirements, cost targets, timelines, and risk mitigation plans.

Key responsibilities include:

• Defining, scoping, and contracting projects (internal & external)

• Negotiating objectives, deliverables, schedules, and budgets with stakeholders

• Managing development teams, suppliers, and external contractors

• Driving project planning, execution, control, and change management

• Ensuring quality, cost, schedule, and risk targets are met

• Creating Business Plans and tracking commercial and technical metrics

• Overseeing procurement, SHE, and resource planning

• Leading acceptance testing and handover to production with full documentation.
