Project Engineer - Mechanical

This role is suited to a technically strong engineer with proven experience in defence or military vehicle projects who thrives in a structured, high-performance environment.

?? Minimum Requirements:

• BEng Mechanical or BEng Mechatronic Engineering (essential)
• 37 years experience in a Project Engineering role
• Proven experience within the defence industry and/or military vehicle environment (essential)
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems integration and engineering drawings
• Experience managing project timelines, budgets, and technical deliverables
• Ability to work within a regulated, high-compliance environment
• Strong coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills

?? Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage engineering projects from concept through to production
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including design, production, procurement, and quality
• Oversee system integration and vehicle-level project execution
• Ensure projects are delivered within scope, time, cost, and compliance requirements
• Identify and mitigate technical and project risks
• Drive continuous improvement and technical excellence
