Responsibilities:Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on motorcyclesConduct full pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) and ensure all units meet safety and performance standardsIdentify mechanical and electrical faults and perform repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelinesComplete job cards accurately and maintain a high level of workshop housekeepingLiaise with the Service Advisor and Workshop Foreman regarding job progress and additional repair requirementsEnsure all work is completed efficiently and within allocated timeframesTest ride motorcycles (where applicable) to verify repairs and ensure performance standards are metMaintain up-to-date knowledge of motorcycle technology, repair methods, and manufacturer bulletinsAdhere to health, safety, and environmental standards in the workplaceAttributes / Competencies:Technically minded and passionate about motorcyclesExcellent problem-solving and fault-finding abilitiesGood communication and interpersonal skillsTime management and organisational abilitiesCustomer-focused with a positive, proactive attitudeRequirements:Qualified Motorcycle Technician (Trade Test Certificate essential)Minimum 1-3 years experience working on motorcycles in a dealership environmentStrong mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic skillsExperience with major motorcycle brands advantageousValid South African Motorcycle License (Code A)Ability to work independently and as part of a teamHigh level of integrity, reliability, and professionalismStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workMotor Industry experience Essential!!
