Overview:The Export Sales Representative is responsible for the overall growth and success of the company’s export sales and marketing efforts. The position is responsible for developing and executing export strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and partners. Minimum Requirements: Degree or diploma in Business, International Business, or MarketingMinimum 5 years of experience in export sales and marketingStrong knowledge of international trade regulations and compliance requirementsDemonstrated ability to develop and implement successful sales and marketing strategiesExcellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environment Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategic plans to grow export sales and market shareDevelop and execute marketing campaigns and promotions to drive sales and brand awarenessMonitor and analyse market trends and competition to inform product development and pricing strategiesStudying the market in the target country or countriesIdentifying new markets for exports and developing new business accountsPlanning a sales campaign suited to that country and current consumer trendsPlanning and reviewing sales forecasts and potential new product rangesMeet regularly with existing and new clients to support and grow sales volumeProvide leadership and guidance to the planning and logistics teams to ensure that customers receive their appropriate shipmentsAttend international tradeshowsKnowledge of the export business to ensure that government policies, labelling systems, transportation and payment laws are followed, manageadministration, such as orders and export documentsEnsure compliance with all relevant export regulations and lawsRespond promptly to customer complaints including solutions and troubleshooting to sort out any problemsPrepare and deliver regular reports on export sales and marketing performance to senior management.
