Project Estimator 

Responsibilities:

• Analyse project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents to determine the scope of work.
• Develop accurate cost estimates for materials, labour, and other project-related expenses.
• Prepare comprehensive proposals and quotes for clients.
• Collaborate with sales team members to understand client needs and provide accurate pricing information.
• Maintain a database of cost data and pricing information.
• Track project costs and ensure they align with the approved estimates.
• Participate in sales meetings and presentations as needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve the estimation process and reduce costs.
• Ad hoc duties as required by Manager.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Proven experience in sales estimation or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Drivers Licence.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Automotive industry knowledge or experience required.
