Key Responsibilities:
- Develop process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and mass balance calculations.
- Perform process simulations and calculations for sizing equipment and systems.
- Prepare technical specifications and data sheets for process equipment.
- Ensure designs meet regulatory, safety, and environmental standards.
- Provide input during procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to integrate process requirements.
- Support project planning, cost estimation, and risk assessments.
- Plan and review laboratory and pilot-scale testing to validate process parameters.
- Collaborate with civil, structural, mechanical, and EC&I engineers on plant design and integration.
- Prepare technical reports, feasibility studies, and cost estimates for projects.
- Conduct site visits and manage on-site activities during execution or commissioning phases (locally and internationally).
- Bachelors degree in chemical engineering or metallurgical engineering.
- 7+ years of experience
- Strong background in mineral processing.
- Knowledge of leaching, solvent extraction, precipitation, and electrowinning processes is advantageous
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of project management and EPCM workflows.
- Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with commissioning and/or a production environment is advantageous.
