Job DescriptionDevelop mechanical designs, calculations, and technical documentationCreate detailed drawings, BOMs, and assembly informationPerform basic mechanical analysis on components and systemsSupport project delivery from design through to installationCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholdersAssist with site activities and resolve technical issuesReview shop drawings and support manufacturing processesEnsure quality standards and maintain documentationContribute to testing, commissioning, and handover processesAssist with process improvements and design optimisationSkills and Experience15 years experience in mechanical designProficiency SolidWorks.Basic understanding of mechanical analysis and FEA conceptsExposure to manufacturing, fabrication, or building systemsFamiliarity with relevant standards (SANS, EN, ASCE advantageous)Strong problem-solving and communication skillsAbility to work both independently and within a teamQualificationsBEng / BSc / MEng in Mechanical Engineering or related fieldOnly South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.Contact MATTHEW LOUW on
