Key Responsibilities Lead and manage multiple engineering projects from design through to delivery, ensuring compliance with company procedures.Perform in-house mechanical design and development, including calculations, FEA/simulations, 3D CAD modelling, and technical documentation.Mentor and support junior engineers and technicians, providing technical guidance and coaching.Review engineering deliverables, reports, and inspection outcomes, and implement corrective actions where necessary.Ensure adherence to safety standards, quality control procedures, and relevant engineering codes and practices.Provide regular progress updates and technical reports to management and clients.Key Requirements / Skills Strong proficiency in 3D CAD software (preferably SolidWorks) and familiarity with FEA/simulation tools.Solid understanding of engineering calculations and related software (e.g., Mathcad, MATLAB or similar).Knowledge of industry standards and codes (e.g., ASME, API, ABS, DNV) is advantageous.Good understanding of manufacturing processes, including fabrication, welding, and machining.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong technical reporting ability.Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills, with proficiency in MS Office tools.
