Senior Accountant

Were partnering with a leading financial services firm in Gauteng seeking a Senior Accountant with strong Hedge Fund experience to take ownership of full-stack financial reporting, NAV oversight and investment accounting for a diverse fund portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily, weekly and monthly NAV calculations and reconciliations
• Manage investment accounting, including derivatives, structured products and multi-asset portfolios
• Prepare management accounts, board packs and financial statements (IFRS & Hedge Fund reporting standards)
• Drive process improvement, automation and financial controls within the fund accounting environment
• Ensure full compliance with FSCA, CISCA, IFRS and relevant regulatory frameworks

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• BCom Accounting + Completed Articles
• 35 years Hedge Fund Accounting experience within financial services / asset management
• Strong knowledge of NAV reporting, portfolio valuation, performance fees and fund structures
• Proficiency in investment systems
