Financial Accountant

A major player in the Logistics & Transport industry is searching for a confident, technically strong Financial Accountant who can bring structure, accuracy, and reliability to a high-pressure, high-movement environment.

Based in Boksburg, this role is ideal for someone with a BCom plus completed articles (SAICA or SAIPA both welcome!) whos ready to take ownership of core financial functions in a business where operational timing and financial precision go hand-in-hand.

This is not a passive accounting role. This is a "keep the numbers clean, keep the books tight, and keep operations moving" kind of role.

Youll work closely with a team thats fast-paced, deadline-driven, and relies heavily on a finance professional who can keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.

ð??? Key Responsibilities:

• Handle the full accounting function (AP, AR, GL, journals, and reconciliations)
• Maintain accurate month-end and year-end reporting
• Support cashbook and treasury-related processing
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting & cost tracking
• Ensure clean audit files & assist Auditors where needed
• Strengthen financial controls and accuracy across the region
• Work closely with operations, logistics teams & senior finance

ð??? Job Experience & Skills Required:

• BCom Degree essential
• Completed articles (SAICA or SAIPA) non-negotiable
• Strong technical accounting foundation
• Experience in Logistics / Transport industries advantageous
• Ability to work in fast-paced, operational environments
• Strong Excel & ERP experience
• Proactive, disciplined, and detail-focused
• Confident communicator with strong problem-solving abilities
