Does not have to have qualifications as long as they have good experience.Previous sales experience having worked within the dry and liquid tanker bulk chemical transport and logistics sectors will be an advantage.must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.must be resilient, and able to multi-task and work under pressure.must be computer literate.Experience having worked with cross-border chemical transport.Understanding of SHEQ requirements in chemical handling and transportation.Strong understanding of chemical supply chain operations, particularly bulk dry and liquid tanker logistics.The successful candidate will be responsible for:Managing all key accounts within the dry and liquid tanker bulk chemical transport and logistics sectors ensuring service excellence, contract compliance, and commercial growth in line with business targets.Driving and growing strategic customer relationships within the chemical transport and logistics sector ensuring service excellence, contract compliance, and commercial growth in line with business targets.Driving the transport of bulk chemicals-both dry and liquid-via road tankers, ensuring alignment with industry regulations, safety standards, and operational efficiency.Understanding clients business needs, pain points, and future logistics requirements.Scheduling and leading regular client review meetings to discuss performance, KPIs, and improvement areas.Identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell services across dry and liquid chemical transportation.Developing tailored solutions and proposals that align with client needs and market trends.Collaborating with the commercial and pricing teams to prepare quotations, tenders, and contract renewals.Liaising with logistics, planning, fleet, and safety teams to ensure delivery performance meets or exceeds expectations.Resolving service issues swiftly and effectively while maintaining positive client relationships.Monitoring key metrics such as OTIF (On-Time In-Full), demurrage, utilisation rates, and transit times.Working closely with internal departments including operations, HSE, compliance, and finance to deliver seamless service.Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
