OTAB is looking for 2 suitably qualified project coordinators
to work in various projects in the Eastern Cape. The coordinators will monitor
training programs for a period of 12 months.
Requirements:
- BSc degree or equivalent from a recognised
University.
- Extensive experience in implementation of short
skills, learnerships and artisan training programs.
- Proven work experience as a Training Coordinator,
Trainer, Training Facilitator or similar role.
- Proven ability to complete full training cycle
(plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate)
- Advanced organizational skills with the ability
to handle multiple assignments.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word,
PowerPoint and Outlook applications.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Good interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel and work anywhere in the
Eastern Cape Province.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that OTAB skills centres are well
resourced with necessary training tools, equipment and technical support to
ensure quality training takes place.
- Map out training plans and provide necessary
workshops for facilitators, assessors, internal moderators and mentors to
present organisational plans and expectations.
- Design, prepare and order educational aids and
materials.
- Create and monitor training schedules for all
programs on allocated sites, track and create reports on outcomes of all
training and maintain training records for the company.
- Monitor facilitators, assessors, internal
moderators and mentors to ensure proper implementation of learning
programs.
- Manage in-house training activities, facilities
and equipment.
- Maintain updated curriculum database and training
records.
- Gather feedback from trainers and trainees and
ensure proper communication between head office and site staff.
- Ensure appropriate training methods are used for
facilitation, simulations, mentoring, on-the-job training, professional
development classes etc.
- Research and recommend new training
methods.
