Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Utility 2 Operator, you will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and repairing equipment on the production lines. Your duties will include:Operating and maintaining equipment such as the Negative and Positive Pasting lines, expander, tab blanker, hopper, divider, and stacker, following supplier manuals to ensure optimal performance.Ensuring that production lines operate efficiently, producing high-quality products at the required rate.Managing the functionality of extraction and cooling systems to keep equipment running smoothly.Completing job cards before starting maintenance work and ensuring all production data, including logs, charts, and SPC data, are recorded accurately.Reporting any risks, issues, or concerns to management and ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.Contributing to cost control by minimizing waste and ensuring that resources are used efficiently.What We Are Looking ForQualifications:Grade 12 Certificate (NQF 4) is required.A Trade Test: Artisan (NQF 5) is advantageous.Experience:Up to 3 years of operator experience in a manufacturing environment.Technical Skills:Basic computer literacy (MS Office, SAP, ERP systems).Familiarity with maintenance practices, designs, methodologies, and SOPs.Knowledge of housekeeping and safety principles.Behavioral Skills:Proactive and action-oriented with strong problem-solving and fault-finding abilities.Ability to work under pressure and maintain resilience.Strong planning and organizational skills.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.A customer-focused approach, with a commitment to quality service.If you are a dedicated and skilled operator looking to make a significant impact within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Main goalManage airfreight operations for Port Moresby branch as well as customer relationships in compliance with PNG legal requirements, Company goals and procedures, industry quality standards of the service while achieving revenue growth and maintaining customer satisfaction at the highest level.Reporting to the Freight Manager you will be responsible for:Manage import/export operations for airfreight cargo, set clear expectations to the team on processing targets, goals and compliance to applicable regulations and company procedures, ensure accurate records in the Company system, distribute tasks for effective execution, ensure control over Company assetsManage warehouse operations for bonded warehouse in line with safety expectations, maintain compliance with Customs/NAQIA requirements for Depot operators, ensure high level of inventory accuracy andEnable effective work of delivery team to provide smooth on-time delivery of air cargo to customers, monitor delivery schedule, arrange fleet maintenance, ensure drivers are qualified and trained as guided by regulations and the CompanyTrain, coach and mentor team members on the import/export processes, Company systems, invoicing clients, customer service principles and other relevant topics/skills required to effectively execute job duties and meet KPIsMonitor on regular basis compliance with KPIs targets by the team and run system reports in order to analyse the results and drive improvements, if any, as well as report to managementControl financials for airfreight operations, steward Profit & Loss report on a monthly basis within allocated budget and drive process adjustments if needed to achieve higher revenue, monitor bill-outs and bill-ins to be processed timely and in line with applicable terms and conditionsStep in to assist customer service agents in resolution of complex import processing tasks or special clientâ??s requests by coordinating freight processing end-to-end and enable effective interaction between internal business units for ex. brokerage, accounting, warehouse, delivery team etc.Provide professional advice on aspects of customs clearance in PNG, applicability of import/export permits, dangerous goods transportation requirements, domestic freight forwarding etc. and assist Sales Manager in participation in tenders and other clientâ??s requestsSupport development, maintenance and execution of Company business growth strategies and continuously search for new business opportunities, conduct market studies as directed by managementBuild and maintain customer relationship, collect clientâ??s feedback and build up business case for process changes if required.
