A food ingredient manufacturer requires a Poultry Product Application Technologist to join their team to develop and optimise poultry brine and coating systems through product trials and technical support at customer sites. Key duties will include: Develop and test brine and coating systems for poultry applications. Conduct product trials at customer sites, including set-up and operation of injectors and other equipment. Collaborate with customers to identify needs and develop tailored solutions. Provide technical troubleshooting support and recommend process or formulation improvements. Participate in NPD projects, offering technical input from concept through to implementation. Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for both internal use and clients. Maintain accurate records, lab notes, and formulation data. Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and regulatory changes. Liaise with suppliers, universities, and external labs as required. Conduct monthly customer visits and attend factory trials.Key Requirements: Food Science degree or related qualification with at least 3 years poultry application experience. Hands-on experience working with poultry brines, coating systems, and injection equipment required. Willing to travel.
