Job Opening: Mechanical Design Engineer (Marine Industry)
Industry: Marine Engineering & Manufacturing
The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Mechanical
Engineer to lead our design and manufacturing efforts. This role is central
to our marine projects, requiring a blend of 3D modeling and a practical
understanding of how designs translate to the factory floor.
Note: This is a hands-on position. The
successful candidate will be expected to spend time in the production
environment, overseeing fabrication and ensuring design intent is met during
the assembly process.
Requirements
Education:
BEng Degree in Mechanical Engineering.Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience (marine industry advantageous) Software
Mastery: Proficiency in SolidWorks.Material
Expertise: Proficiency in Stainless Steel design and
fabrication.Languages:
Must be fluent in English (written and verbal).Licensing:
Must possess a valid Driver’s License.Skillset:
Strong background in mechanical design, structural integrity, and
manufacturing workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Lead
the end-to-end design process for marine components and systems using SolidWorks.Hands-on
involvement in the manufacturing and fabrication process to optimize
