Position Purpose
Acts as key business partner to all departments and senior management the Client
Responsible for providing business performance analysis and managing the Sales & Operations Planning process.
Job Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead a team of Finance and Operations analysists in various aspects of the business (some of which are outlined below) and act as an internal business partner to the Executive team and department heads.
• Monthly volume and rolling forecast cycle for total company, including partnering with the Key accounts and marketing team and reporting back to management;
• Forecasting, reporting (month end duties) and variance analysis of the company P&L. Including but not limited to Gross to Net sales, COGS, Distribution, Marketing, Admin, & Selling expenses.
• Seasonal analysis around volume, portfolio, pricing and tracking;
• Customer, Brand and Retail monthly contribution statement compilation and analysis;
• Ensure all pricing for customers is reflected accurately in SAP;
• Lead the Budget and Latest estimate process within the organization;
• Act as back-up administrator for the business intelligence warehouse (IBM Cognos); and
• Support the Executive team with various projects and ad-hoc analysis throughout the year.

• Highly numerate with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail; and
• Strong Excel skills, SAP experience considered to be a distinctive advantage

Strategy
Develop, execute and update strategic expansion plan for new store openings

Marketing

Monitor sales of seasonal and promotional product ranges and report performance
Monitor and analyze each stores sales performance by product segment and take instore action and advised marketing as required
Logistics
Work with the Supply Chain Manager to establish the most efficient order/delivery process for stock
Maintenance, Agreements & Contracts
Manage all store lease negotiations on an ongoing basis including new options and renewals
Manage third party service agreements
Ensure that all equipment and machinery are fully operational and in good repair
Conduct quarterly maintenance reviews on each site
Staff Development & Management
Understand & ensure compliance with the relevant labor laws governing employees
Manage the recruitment process for all retail management
Develop leadership & implement a training schedule to include company history, policies & procedures, product knowledge and customer service
Counsel, coach and guide management team on proper techniques, operational issues and human resources
Motivate staff to achieve desired sales & profit results
Communicate regularly with the Training Manager, Retail Manager, Store Managers and appropriate management in regards to sales, P/L, Service and best practice
Provide direction to the Store Manager in setting targets & contribute to action plans to achieve these targets
Analyze daily sales figures for retail and compare to forecasted figures
Provide sales information to staff and utilize in incentive programs
Work with the HR department in the selection, training, development and succession planning of current and future staff in all states
Responsible for regular coaching and performance evaluations of all direct reports.
Work Health & Safety
Apply best practice and ensure compliance with all OHSA legislation
Ensure new retail store shop fitting supports a safe work environment that minimizes risk to employee health and wellbeing
Ensure OHSA standards are strictly observed (or company standards where they exceed statutory requirements)
Enforces food safety and hygiene standards in store at all times

Bottling Plant seeks a Maintenance Manager to be accountable for maintaining quality, standards, service and desired outputs within inter-related functional areas of responsibility. You will set frameworks of policies and procedures and take accountability for managing operational projects within the maintenance space, ensuring infrastructure maintenance initiatives are carried out successfully within agreed timeframes, cost and scope. You will also manage ad hoc maintenance requests, ensuring issues are addressed within agreed SLAs. You need exposure to multi-head fillers, cappers, labellers, crate washers and packers, shrink wrappers, blow moulders etc.
You will manage all maintenance and related activities to ensure optimal levels of plant and equipment availability, ensure all equipment and safety standards are maintained, manage ad hoc maintenance requests, ensure issues are addressed within agreed SLAs, effectively manage relationships with contractors and suppliers, provide expert advice and help efficiently resolve maintenance queries General Operational and Financial Management, actively participate in operational planning and budgeting processes
You will drive continuous improvement through streamlining and optimising relevant operational practices, processes and systems, ensure adherence to operational and financial frameworks of practices, processes, standards and controls, control cost and take the necessary action to mitigate any financial risks or non-compliance.
Min Bachelor’s Degree (3 years) / NQF level 7 (Essential), 8 years’ experience in a Maintenance Manager role; experience in FMCG; Bottling Equipment, Soft Drink, Packaging, Palletizing, Labelling. MS Excel; SAP; MS PowerPoint; MS Word; E-Mail. You will need to be energetic, fit and in good health.
