DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct final quality inspections on all workshop repairs and servicing completed on commercial trucksVerify that technicians have correctly completed mechanical and electrical repairsPerform diagnostic checks to confirm that reported faults have been properly resolvedTest drive trucks after servicing or repairs to ensure operational reliability and safetyIdentify incomplete or incorrect work before vehicles are released to customersWork closely with workshop foremen and service advisors to ensure quality standards are maintainedEnsure all repairs meet manufacturer and dealership service standardsProvide technical feedback and guidance to workshop technicians where necessaryAssist with fault diagnosis on complex mechanical issues where requiredMaintain accurate quality control records and inspection reportsSupport overall workshop productivity by reducing repeat repairs and customer comebacks EDUCATION, QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS: Grade 12 (Matric)Qualified Trade Tested Diesel Technician / Diesel MechanicMinimum 8 10 years experience working on commercial trucks or heavy vehicles
