Duties and Responsibilities:

• Engineering Excellence:
  Demonstrates sound technical skills and applies necessary behaviours to deliver quality work.
  Undertakes administrative responsibilities.
  Ensures compliance with standards and client expectations.
• Project Implementation:
  Complies with project systems.
  Manages project execution, vendors, and subcontractors.
  Ensures project quality and financial performance.
• Business Development:
  Engages in marketing activities.
  Maintains client relationships and explores new opportunities.
• Cost-Effectiveness:
  Manages project finances and optimizes resource utilization effectively.
• Strategy and Quality Assurance:
  Adheres to quality plans and addresses issues promptly.

  Communicates effectively and builds lasting relationships.
• Compliance with QMS Standards:
  Ensures adherence to company processes and values.
• Attitude / Behaviour:

Requirements:

• BSc/BEng in Civil Engineering.
• Registered Professional Engineer with ECSA.
• 10+ years of experience.

Competencies:

• Experience in engineering of structures or civil infrastructure.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
• Excellent planning and organizational capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and with teams effectively.

Pre-requisite knowledge and skills to perform the job proficiently

• Completed tertiary level civil engineering education.
• Previous experience in the industrial environment will be advantageous.
• Displays leadership qualities.
• Solid understanding of complex engineering problems.
• A proven record of successful projects in a senior engineering role.
• Previous experience managing engineering teams will be advantageous.
