Creditors Clerk

Our Client has an open position available for a Creditors Clerk to start on 1 February 2026.

What are we looking for?
We are looking for someone with the following experience, qualifications and /or skillsets:

Key performance areas

• Processing and payment of invoices
• Reconciliations
• Cash book processing
• Fixed asset register balancing
• Processing of journals

Qualifications, experience and skills

• Certificate in finance (minimum).
• Diploma in finance would be advantageous.?
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Creditors Clerk or in a similar accounts payable role.?
• Experience in accounting to trial balance will be advantageous.?
• Experience working on Pastel Evolution is advantageous.?
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.?
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail; committed to producing quality work.?
• Experience in operating spreadsheets (e.g., Excel) and accounting software.?
• Proven ability to work under pressure, manage deadlines and prioritise tasks.?
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify issues and initiate corrective action.?
• Professional, ethical conduct and adherence to Curro’s code of ethics; a clear criminal record is essential.?
• Personal commitment to education and a willingness to contribute to the values and ethos of the school.
