Junior IT Technician

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a relevant IT support role.
• Relevant IT qualification (e.g. A+, N+, Diploma or similar)
• Solid understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking
• Experience with Microsoft Windows environments.
• Basic knowledge of networking (LAN/WAN, routers, switches)
• Valid drivers licence and own reliable transport (advantageous)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide first-line technical support to clients (remote and onsite)
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, hardware, and software.
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related issues efficiently.
• Assist with network setup, maintenance, and monitoring.
• Perform routine system checks, updates, and backups.
• Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions.
• Assist senior technicians with more complex IT projects and implementations.
• Ensure all work is completed within agreed service levels.
