Job Title: Specialist QA Engineer

JOB CONTEXT:
We're on the lookout for a QA Engineer who thrives in a high-performance, fast-paced technology environment. Youll play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality, stability, and reliability of our digital payment platforms through expert automation and rigorous testing practices.
In this role, you will design automation testing plans and develop robust test scripts across various layers of technical solutions from front-end and back-end systems to performance and integration components. Your expertise will help shape our testing strategy, aligning with enterprise frameworks and ensuring the highest standards of quality pre, during, and post-deployment.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyse business requirements.
• Write and execute test cases.
• Create regression test packs.
• Validate results on mainframe applications.
• Analyse Base24 traces.
• Automate manual testing on mainframe.
• Implement testing frameworks.
• Contribute to continuous improvements.
• Support with testing schemes (Mastercard, Visa) and payments related projects.
• Automate manual processes.
• Exposure to an array of technologies and systems.
• Largest acquiring bank in Africa.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS;

• Relevant qualification in a related field, e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Management.
• ISTQB Certification.
• Min 3 years hands on automation testing experience.
• Payments, Schemes, Merchant Acquiring and Card experience.

MANDATORY SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Testing on mainframe applications.
• Schemes compliance.

• Versa test.

PACKAGE & REMUNERATION:

• Compensation will be determined based on qualifications, applicable banking experience, and previous earnings.
