Educational Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Telecommunications Engineering, or related discipline (mandatory).
  • Postgraduate qualification (MBA, MSc in IT, Telecommunications, or Software Engineering) advantageous.
Professional Certifications (preferred)
  • Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Telecom or network certifications (TM Forum, Telecom Architecture frameworks).
  • Agile / SAFe certifications (Scrum Master, SAFe Practitioner).
  • DevOps certifications (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD platforms).

Relevant Experience
  • 1012 years experience in software or telecom platform engineering, with at least 5+ years in leadership roles.
  • Proven experience delivering large-scale USSD or telecom digital channel platforms.
  • Strong experience integrating USSD platforms with mobile money systems, payment platforms, banking systems, and telecom networks.
  • Hands-on expertise in USSD gateway integration, session management, telecom protocols, and transaction processing platforms.
  • Experience implementing API-driven architectures, microservices, and cloud-native backend services supporting telecom channels.
  • Experience managing vendors, telecom partners, and delivery pipelines.
