Senior Network Administrator

My client is seeking an experienced Senior Network Administrator to take responsibility for the stability, security, and performance of their core IT infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being the goâ??to technical expert and takes pride in building resilient, wellâ??run systems.

Youll work across networking, servers, and Microsoft 365 environments, ensuring smooth dayâ??toâ??day operations while strengthening business continuity through security, backups, and recovery processes. The environment values accountability, initiative, and practical problemâ??solving over red tape.

Skills & Experience:
Minimum 5+ years experience in IT administration / network administration
Strong handsâ??on networking experience:
Routing, switching, VPNs, MikroTik
TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing protocols
Server administration experience including:
Active Directory
File & share permissions
Windows Server 2022
Microsoft 365 environment exposure:
Exchange
Azure Active Directory
Solid understanding of:
Network security
Business continuity, backups, and disaster recovery
Hardware and software solutions (including VoIP)
Strong problemâ??solving ability and communication skills
Comfortable working under pressure and managing multiple priorities
Ownership mindset with a strong internal customer service focus

Qualification:
Diploma in IT Systems Administration (NQF Level 4/5)
A+ / N+
Microsoft certification / MCITP
Network Security+
