Senior Kubernetes Engineer – SRS Migration

Role Summary
Own Kubernetes platform design and operations to host containerized SRS middleware components (WebSphere, MQ, integration services) ensuring high availability, scalability, and operational stability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage EKS-based Kubernetes clusters.
• Containerize and deploy Java middleware workloads.
• Implement HA, auto-scaling, rolling upgrades, and zero-downtime deployments.
• Define Kubernetes security, networking, and observability standards.
• Troubleshoot performance and stability issues during migration and cutover.
• Work closely with DB2 and Infra teams to ensure seamless integration.

Required Experience

• middleware/platform engineering.
• 5+ years of hands-on Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
• Strong Docker, Helm, and CI/CD experience.
• Experience supporting mission-critical production systems.
