Their focus is on maintaining reliable systems, resolving technical issues, and supporting ongoing client infrastructure needs.The Role: Senior IT Support TechnicianThis role is responsible for delivering advanced technical support, handling escalated helpdesk queries, and mentoring junior technicians. The position requires strong technical knowledge across core IT systems, the ability to troubleshoot effectively, and a commitment to continuous learning. The role is based on-site in Edenvale with travel required to client sites when needed.Key ResponsibilitiesDemonstrate a minimum of 5 years experience in IT support or a similar role.Provide Tier 3 helpdesk support and resolve escalated technical issues.Support and maintain Microsoft 365 environments.Manage and support Sophos firewall solutions.Mentor and guide junior technicians.Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and system issues.Support client environments both remotely and on-site.Travel to client sites as required.About YouMinimum 5 years experience in IT support.Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Sophos firewalls.Experience in Tier 3 helpdesk support.Solid understanding of core IT technologies and concepts.Continuous learner with the ability to build knowledge from foundational to advanced levels.Own reliable vehicle and valid drivers license.Ability to work on-site in Edenvale and travel when required.
