Senior C# Developer

The Opportunity
As a Senior C# Developer, youll take ownership of enhancing, maintaining, and expanding businessâ??critical applications, APIs, services, and integrations. Youll work closely with technical and business teams to turn complex requirements into seamless, stable, and futureâ??ready software. Your role blends problemâ??solving, design thinking, handsâ??on development, and a strong focus on quality from concept to deployment.

What Youll Be Building

• Develop and enhance websites, C# applications, APIs, and integrations
• Translate technical specifications into high quality, standards aligned code
• Research emerging technologies and suggest improvements
• Maintain source control and ensure versioning best practices
• Optimise code performance through profiling and continuous improvement
• Conduct unit testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
• Collaborate with Business Analysts on requirement accuracy and clarity
• Support operations and key stakeholders with technical insights

Your Technical Toolkit

• C# .NET programming (advanced)
• SQL (strong knowledge) + database maintenance/creation
• JavaScript, HTML, ASP, PGP
• Experience with source code repositories
• Solid grasp of system design, debugging, and code optimisation

What You Bring

• Grade 12 + Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or related IT field
• 58 years experience as a Developer (mandatory)
• Experience in the Financial Services sector (advantageous)
• Strong analytical mindset, accountability, problemâ??solving ability, and discipline
• Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
• Ability to work under pressure, manage conflicts, and drive results
• Leadership potential with the ability to guide best practices
