Description
What you will be doing:
  • Develop and maintain solutions involving Credit, Debit, and Prepaid card processing, adhering to Visa and MasterCard regulations.
  • Work extensively on the Base24 Classic platform, including development, configuration, and support.
  • Handle daily production support activitiesanalyzing logs, resolving incidents, and responding to helpdesk/stakeholder queries.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of batch system issues and proactively resolve potential problems.
  • Manage configurations and deployments in a high-availability transaction switching environment.
Contribute to card transaction processing areas including:
  • ATM, POS, and EFT acquiring
  • Transaction switching and routing
  • Issuing functionality and host interfaces
  • Cryptographic components and device management
  • Lead and support Base24 initiatives including switch setup, configuration, migration, and scheme certifications.
  • Participate in full software development lifecycle using the SDLC modelcovering design, development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
What we are looking for:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
  • 8 years of software engineering experience, with hands-on work in Java and enterprise systems
  • Experience with AWS, Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.
  • SWIFT standards and their integration into financial systems.
  • Proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD practices
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex production issues
  • Experience in payments and financial switching environments
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach with a passion for excellence in software engineering

  • Pathway, Enform, FUP, SCUP, DBU, DDL, INSPECT, SPOOLER
  • Enscribe, Non-stop SQL, DB2, VSAM

  • AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD
  • Rancher, Trace Transformer, Postgres
  • Familiarity with SWIFT standards is an advantage
