React Native Developer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

Development & Architecture

• Develop high-quality mobile applications using React Native, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Deliver clean, functional, and defect-free code aligned with agreed timelines and standards.
• Maintain and enhance existing mobile codebases, ensuring long-term performance and scalability.
• Integrate apps with RESTful APIs (NodeJS backend experience is a strong advantage).
• Implement Firebase features, including Authentication and Cloud Messaging.
• Translate UI/UX designs into fully functional, user-friendly mobile applications.
• Handle navigation, forms, validations, and role-based flows.
• Conduct unit testing, debugging, and deployment to Android and iOS app stores.
• Optimize app performance and fix issues in production environments.

Collaboration & Process

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including backend developers, designers, testers, and product stakeholders.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and code reviews.
• Research, suggest, and apply new tools or techniques to improve the product or development process.
• Take ownership of your code and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Requirements & Qualifications

Must-Have Skills:

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in mobile app development.
• 3+ years of experience with React Native in production apps.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript, React Hooks, and Redux.
• Integration experience with RESTful APIs; NodeJS backend knowledge is an advantage.
• Hands-on experience with Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Messaging).
• Knowledge of Android and iOS build processes, debugging, and app store requirements.
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows (e.g., GitHub).
• Experience handling navigation, forms, validations, and role-based flows.
• Performance optimization and bug fixing in React Native apps.
