Company and Job Description:
A leading financial services organisation is seeking a Transactional Banking Network & API Specialist to provide technical expertise and advanced support across transactional banking channels, including APIs, Host-to-Host integrations, and secure network connectivity.
This role offers exposure to complex, high-volume transactional environments, collaboration with specialised network and security teams, and the opportunity to support enterprise clients. Youll play a critical role in ensuring system stability, secure integrations, and exceptional service delivery while working in a regulated, best-practice-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for transactional banking APIs and Host-to-Host (H2H) integrations, including onboarding, upgrades, certificates, and connectivity troubleshooting
• Support transactional banking applications to ensure system availability, reliability, and performance
• Perform root cause analysis, incident investigation, and resolution of recurring system issues
• Act as second- and third-line support for production incidents, coordinating resolution within agreed SLAs
• Support secure network connectivity, including firewall rules, encryption protocols, and secure integrations
• Participate in UAT, release support, and post-implementation handovers
• Maintain operational documentation and support risk, compliance, and audit requirements

Job Experience & Skills Required / Ideal Candidate Profile:
Qualification:

• Degree or Diploma in IT, Information Systems, Cyber Security, or a related field

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years experience in network, application, or production support, preferably within banking or financial services
• Hands-on experience supporting transactional banking channels, APIs, or Host-to-Host integrations
• Exposure to incident, problem, and change management in a regulated environment

Skills:

• Strong understanding of network fundamentals, secure connectivity, and cyber security principles
