Financial Systems Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support for Oracle E-Business Suite applications including Financials, Inventory, Projects, Purchasing, and iProcurement
• Assist in troubleshooting system issues and perform root cause analysis
• Monitor and manage system tickets through ServiceNow, ensuring timely updates and resolution
• Work with Oracle Support and internal IT teams to resolve system-related issues
• Support month-end financial close processes across subledgers and general ledger
• Assist with Oracle patch analysis, testing, and deployments
• Participate in system upgrades, rollouts, and testing (UAT)
• Identify opportunities to improve system processes and operational efficiency
• Support business users with system-related queries and enhancements
• Document processes and maintain system support documentation
• Collaborate with internal IT teams including QA, developers, and business analysts

Requirements

• Bachelors degree or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 24 years experience supporting Oracle E-Business Suite or similar ERP systems
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills
• Experience working with SQL queries and relational databases (e.g. TOAD or similar)
• Basic understanding of finance and accounting processes is advantageous
• Experience working in a corporate or global systems environment is beneficial
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and within a team
