Business Analyst (Practice and Governance)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Act as a strategic partner to the Department Head in fulfilling MANCO-related requests and supporting business planning.
• Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of BA governance, standards, tools, templates, and methodologies.
• Serve as a thought leader in Business Analysis by identifying and driving opportunities for practice advancement and innovation.
• Provide quality assurance oversight on major business requirements, solution designs, and business case development.
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, translating strategic goals into practical initiatives and roadmaps.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, PMO, HR, and other strategic units to ensure alignment of business and technology initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Qualifications: BCom (Information Systems), Bachelor in Business Administration, Bachelor of IT: Information Systems, BSc (Information Systems). Honours or Master's degree will be an advantage.
• Skills: 810 years' experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 4 years in a senior or strategic advisory capacity, Transforming BA frameworks and governance models, Enterprise analysis, strategic planning support, and business value management, Agile and Waterfall environments, with the ability to tailor approaches based on context, Proficient in governance, frameworks (e.g., BABOK), strategic thinking, and practice maturity models
