AUTOMATION DEVELOPER

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and optimise automated business workflows using low-code platforms (e.g., Nintex K2, Power Automate, n8n).
• Customise interfaces with HTML/CSS, script workflow logic in JavaScript, and implement backend automations using Python.
• Integrate systems and services through RESTful APIs, webhooks, and secure data exchange protocols (OAuth).
• Manage and transform data formats (JSON, XML, CSV) and apply basic SQL/database knowledge.
• Use Git version control and support CI/CD pipelines for deployment and updates.
• Analyse business processes, identify automation opportunities, and translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Apply, monitor, and refine AI-driven workflows to enhance efficiency and decision-making.
• Troubleshoot automation issues and provide system support, including updates, patching, and testing.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Education & Background:

• Tertiary qualification in Automation, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience:

• 13 years experience developing automations using low-code or workflow platforms (e.g., K2, Power Automate, n8n).
• Experience in JavaScript, Python, and front-end technologies (HTML/CSS).
• Working knowledge of REST APIs, OAuth, JSON/XML, and SQL.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and basic CI/CD processes.
• Exposure to AI tools or machine learning integrations will be advantageous.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Keen interest in emerging automation and AI technologies.
• Willingness to work on-site at the Johannesburg Head Office.
