Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, maintenance, and enhancement of internal applications using VB.Net and Visual Studio 2019.
- Prioritize development tasks, enhancements, and bug fixes according to business needs.
- Analyse requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop Power BI and other reports in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Oversee helpdesk operations, providing first-line support for software, hardware, and network issues.
- Manage user accounts, including creation, deactivation, and access control.
- Support server, network, and desktop infrastructure, including rollouts, configuration, and basic training.
- Ensure IT systems comply with company policies and industry standards.
- Maintain documentation for systems, applications, and processes.
- Strong experience with VB.Net and Visual Studio 2019 (Windows Forms)
- Solid knowledge of MS T-SQL
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
- Effective communication with business users and IT teams
- Experience with MS SQL Report Writer and Crystal Reports 8.5
- Familiarity with LMS and NAVIS
- Knowledge of EDI messages (SARS, Transnet UN/EDIFACT)
- Microsoft Office 365 and Windows 11 support
- First-line hardware support experience
