Sales Representative - Gauteng

We are a South African based Masterbatch and Polymer producer & exporter. Currently, we seek a skilled and experienced Sales Representative to grow the business and offer an excellent customer experience. We can offer the ideal candidate a steady base with solid growth potential.

This job requires passion, commitment, and the drive to succeed. You will be developing and maintaining relationships with customers in several industries, you need to be a focused, proactive self-starter, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. You will use your skills to develop and close new business, grow existing business, rejuvenate business, and support your team with feedback, knowledge shared and other collaterals. Above all, you will be responsible for achieving your sales and customer satisfaction targets.

Salary and Benefits = R15000 – R20000 + Commission, Provident Fund, Travel/Cell Allowance

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Marketing:

· Build new and maintain lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs and objectives

· Identify and research potential clients

· Generate new leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals

· Attend business and customer meetings or functions

· Assist with customer deliveries when required

· Complete regular sales reports

· Communicate important company information to customers

· Communicate important customer information back to company

· Collaborate with teams to provide tailored solutions that meet client requirements

· Develop and implement effective sales/marketing strategies to satisfy customer requirements and secure new business

· Create, maintain, and communicate customer pricing

· Create and manage sales funnel

· Meeting and exceeding monthly sales budgets and targets

· Attend to customer complaints effectively

· Create quarterly sales forecasts

Qualifications and Experience:

· Grade 12 Senior Certificate

· Certificate or Diploma in Sales/Marketing

· Knowledge of sales processes and successful implementation

· Valid South African Driver’s License with own vehicle

· Proficient in Mircosoft Office

· Excellent verbal and written skills in English – Bilingual advantageous

· Prior experience in the plastic industry would be highly advantageous
