Technical Buyer

Key Focus Areas:

• Sourcing and evaluating suppliers of PCBAs, cables & wires, electronic components, machined aluminium components, and IT/network components
• Requesting and analysing quotations to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality compliance
• Negotiating pricing, delivery timelines, and contract terms
• Assessing supplier compliance against technical specifications and regulatory standards
• Supporting strategic sourcing initiatives focused on cost saving and supplier competitiveness
• Managing ERP system accuracy and procurement documentation

Requirements:

• Matric Grade 12
• 45 years experience in technical buying / technical procurement
• Proven exposure to electronic & computer components
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks
• Acumatica experience advantageous
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and supplier relationship management skills
