Sales Engineer - Gauteng

A leading manufacturer of screening media and wear solutions is expanding its Gauteng team and is searching for a strong Sales Engineer with hands-on experience selling into mining and mineral processing plants. If you understand plant flow, screening challenges, and wear applications this role puts you at the centre of major operations across the region.

Non-Negotiable Requirements

• 35+ years technical or capital equipment sales experience into mining
• Strong knowledge of screening media, wear linings, or mineral processing equipment
• Established relationships within Gauteng mines, quarries, EPCMs, or plant managers
• Valid drivers license and willing to travel extensively across the region
• Ability to work independently, manage a territory, and build long-term client partnerships

Job Experience & Skills Required

• Maintain and grow key accounts within major mining and processing operations
• Identify plant challenges and recommend screening/wear solutions to reduce downtime
• Conduct site visits, plant audits, and product demonstrations
• Work closely with operations and engineering teams to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions
• Track opportunities, prepare quotations, and drive sales to achieve territory targets
• Strong technical communication skills and the ability to influence decision-makers
