Robotics Sales Engineer

A leading automation solutions provider is looking for a Robotics Sales Engineer to drive the sale of industrial robot systems, with a strong focus on a world-class Japanese robot brand. If you enjoy solving automation challenges, working with factories, and helping clients adopt smarter, faster robotic solutions, this role is for you.

Non-Negotiable Requirements:

• Engineering qualification: Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Automation.
• 25 years technical sales experience in industrial automation or robotics.
• Hands-on understanding of robot systems (pick & place, palletising, welding, assembly, and packaging).
• Ability to read technical drawings and propose engineered solutions.
• Valid drivers licence & own vehicle.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• Promote and sell industrial robots into the manufacturing, packaging, automotive, and general industry.
• Conduct site visits, assess automation needs, and recommend robot solutions.
• Work closely with integrators, OEMs, and end-users to scope applications.
• Prepare quotes, solution proposals, and ROI justifications for customers.
• Support demos, trials, customer training, and new system commissioning where required.
• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline while developing new business.
• Strong technical communication skills able to explain robotics in simple, practical terms.
• Self-driven, organised, and confident in front of clients at all levels.
