Description
A fast-growing utility metering specialist is looking for a commercially savvy Key Accounts / Business Development professional to grow its footprint within the commercial property and residential apartment sector. This role is strictly for someone who already has strong relationships within property groups, developers, facilities managers, and asset managers.
This is not a cold sales role your existing network is your biggest asset.

Non-Negotiable Requirements

  • Proven experience within commercial property, facilities management, or asset management environments.
  • Strong existing relationships with property owners, landlords, developers, or managing agents.
  • 35+ years experience in business development, key accounts, or solution sales.
  • Solid commercial acumen and contract negotiation ability.
  • Valid drivers licence and own vehicle.

Job Experience & Skills Required

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities for electricity, water, and utility sub-metering solutions.
  • Leverage existing property-sector relationships to drive adoption across portfolios.
  • Engage decision-makers at landlord, developer, and managing agent level.
  • Build long-term key account relationships across large property portfolios.
  • Present technical and commercial solutions to property stakeholders.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from opportunity identification to contract close.
  • Work closely with internal technical and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Strong pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting skills.
  • Confident communicator with a polished, professional presence.
