Our client is seeking a motivated, professional, and customer-focused Sales Consultant to join their dynamic team in Bloemfontein. Minimum requirements:

  • Matric
  • Minimum of 3 years' sales experience
  • Fluent in Afrikaans and English
  • Computer literate
  • Professional and presentable
  • Willing to work retail hours, including Sundays (rotation basis)
  • Craftsmanship or hands-on ability

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Build, develop, and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients by understanding their individual needs and providing personalised, professional solutions
  • Actively identify and generate new sales opportunities through prospecting, networking, client referrals, and follow-ups
  • Present and demonstrate products professionally, showcasing features, benefits, and value while tailoring the approach to each client’s preferences
  • Provide accurate and transparent product information, pricing, and terms, ensuring clients are fully informed and confident in their purchase decisions
  • Consistently achieve or exceed individual and team sales targets through proactive engagement and effective closing techniques
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial client enquiry to closing the sale, including preparing detailed quotations, proposals, and contracts
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of all client interactions, sales activities, and follow-ups within the CRM system
  • Manage client queries, complaints, and after-sales service efficiently, maintaining a high level of professionalism and client satisfaction
  • Stay informed on product knowledge, industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to provide expert advice and guidance to clients
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing and operations teams to support promotions, campaigns, and special events
  • Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events, presenting a professional image and promoting the brand effectively
  • Provide timely and insightful feedback to management on client preferences, market trends, and potential business opportunities to support strategic planning
