Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated Electronic Engineer specialising in Automation to join our growing technical team. In this role, you will design, develop, and implement automated systems that enhance productivity, reliability, and efficiency across our operations. Youll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that support our long-term automation strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, program, and maintain automation systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA interfaces.
• Develop and test electronic circuits, control systems, and automation components.
• Troubleshoot electrical and automation-related issues to ensure minimal downtime.
• Support installation, commissioning, and optimisation of automated equipment.
• Prepare technical documentation, wiring diagrams, and system specifications.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with relevant electrical standards and safety regulations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelors degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field.
• Proven experience with PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Omron).
• Strong knowledge of industrial automation systems, sensors, instrumentation, and control logic.
• Hands-on experience with CAD tools for circuit design (e.g., Altium, AutoCAD Electrical).
• Understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
