Job Description:Engage with stakeholders to analyse and document business, operational, and technical requirements across OT and IT environmentsDesign, develop, deploy, and maintain industrial software applications, including HMI and SCADA solutionsDevelop and manage database schemas, optimize queries, and ensure reliable data integrity across SQL/NoSQL environmentsDesign and implement APIs and integration interfaces connecting PLCs, SCADA, IIoT, ERP, and analytics platformsContribute to system architecture, secure implementation practices, structured testing, and solution validationSupport deployment, troubleshooting, documentation, and ongoing system improvement initiativesSkills & Experience:Minimum 2+ years experience in industrial automation or related environmentsPractical experience with PLC, SCADA, DCS, or equivalent industrial platformsExposure to system integration using databases, APIs, and protocols such as REST, MQTT, or OPC UAUnderstanding of industrial networking fundamentals and basic cybersecurity principlesExperience delivering projects in sectors such as FMCG, Mining, Water, or ManufacturingStrong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilitiesQualification:Bachelors degree in Mechatronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer ScienceProficiency in Python, C#, Java, and SQLValid drivers license and willingness to travelOnly South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.Contact MATTHEW LOUW on
