Consulting Electrical Engineer

A leading consulting engineering firm delivering innovative and sustainable electrical solutions across commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. We are looking for a skilled Consulting Electrical Engineer to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and review electrical systems for building and infrastructure projects
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and reports
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with regulations and standards
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical engineers, architects, and project managers
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables
• Provide technical support and mentorship to junior engineers
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Registered or eligible for registration with Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA)
• Experience in a consulting engineering environment
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar)
• Strong knowledge of South African electrical standards and regulations
• Excellent communication and project management skills
