Industrial Engineer

An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated Industrial Engineering Graduate to join a dynamic team within Department 6. This permanent role, starting ASAP, is ideal for someone looking to kick-start their engineering career in a fastâ??paced, processâ??driven environment.

The successful candidate will apply industrial engineering principles to improve production efficiency, reduce costs, optimize workflows, and enhance overall operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply industrial engineering techniques to enhance performance while minimizing wastage and delays
• Improve production efficiency and contribute to cost-saving initiatives
• Develop manufacturing methods and optimize material handling processes
• Plan, coordinate, and maintain manufacturing information and systems
• Coordinate the movement of raw and finished products across the supply chain
• Develop efficient methods for resource utilization (people, machines, materials, information, and energy)
• Optimize organizational structures and workflow
• Study product requirements to design appropriate manufacturing and information systems
• Develop management control systems
• Carry out mathematical calculations to determine best-fit manufacturing processes
• Assist with financial planning and cost analyses
• Design methods to ensure consistent, high-quality production
• Recommend the most viable plant and factory locations
• Resolve production-related challenges
• Design equipment and workspace layouts
• Estimate production costs
• Manage purchasing and requisitions on internal systems
• Design and improve plant layout diagrams using MS Visio
• Provide general administrative support

Job Experience & Skills Required (Ideal Candidate Profile):

• Strong understanding of engineering principles and theories
• Ability to improve processes and implement new procedures or policies
• Solid knowledge of quality management principles
• Familiarity with industrial engineering methodologies
• Proficient in MS Office
• Strong administrative and organizational skills
