Chief Engineer

Qualifications & Experience:

• B ING/BSc degree in a relevant Engineering discipline.
• Postgraduate qualification will be a definite advantage.

Experience:

• 10 years plus experience in Design and Engineering.
• Experience in the aerospace and defense industry .
• Demonstrable experience in leading an engineering department with a proven track record in strategic engineering leadership delivering projects and systems.
• Demonstrable experience in Systems Engineering and Configuration Management.
• Familiarity with Airworthiness and Certification compliance will be an advantage.
• Proven project management and supplier experience, Production/Manufacturing background.
• Managing and reviewing the Engineering Change Process inside the Configuration Control Process and Configuration Control Board.
• Providing technical input in Material Review Board, Corrective Action Board and Maintenance Review Board meetings.
• Chairing the Internal Safety Review Board, Oversea System Hazard Assessment Process, compile and review Certificate for Flight Trials, Safety Case Report.
• Appraising and interpreting client requirements to ensure that technical, regulatory, and commercial aspects are delivered on each project.
