Supervises the work of warehouse personnel, overseeing general warehouse operations, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality procedures.

PRIMARY PURPOSE(S) OF POSITION:
Supervises the work of warehouse personnel, overseeing general warehouse operations, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality procedures.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage warehouse functions according to company policies
- Ensure receiving and dispatch functions are executed efficiently
- Meet objectives and targets
- Understand and manage the DC budget
- Develop team members and manage employee relations
- Ensure adequate resources for daily operations
- Maintain warehouse equipment and vehicles
- Adhere to SHEQ principles
- Ensure housekeeping, safety, and quality standards are met
- Collaborate in maintaining reports and documentation
- Obey lawful duties and instructions
- Leadership skills
- Judgment/decision-making skills
- Organisation/planning skills
- Communication skills
- Supervise direct and indirect reports
- Minimum/Essential: 3+ year Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain
- Minimum/Essential: 2 years experience in Supply Chain/Logistics
- Expertise in SAP, SAP BW, SAP WMS
- Strong supply chain and business knowledge
