Description
Key Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities within the tooling and manufacturing sector
  • Manage and grow an existing customer base while developing new accounts
  • Build strong customer relationships and understand their production requirements
  • Recommend and demonstrate suitable tooling solutions to improve cycle times, tool life, and cost per component
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets through proactive sales activities
  • Maintain accurate sales records and update the CRM system daily
  • Work closely with internal teams including internal sales, finance, and stock control
  • Attend sales meetings and provide updates on sales performance and forecasts
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and new market opportunities
  • Maintain strong product knowledge through ongoing technical and sales training
  • Represent the company professionally at all times
Requirements preferred:
  • Matric
  • Experience with CNC machines, mills, and lathes
  • Knowledge of carbide cutting tools
  • Good communication and sales skills
  • Able to work independently and in a team
  • Tooling sales experience is an advantage
