Minimum skills and experience required:
- Strong logistics and sales orientation
- Fit and able to perform heavy lifting
- Fully traceable employment history
- Valid Code 8 drivers license
- Selfâ??starter with strong organisational skills
Duties and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate would be required, but not limited to:
WAREHOUSE
- Key holder
- Receiving (12 deliveries per month)
- Stock control (counting, rotation, quality, order picking control)
- Full responsibility for stock integrity
DELIVERY
- Full management and control of vehicles (daily checks, fuel, servicing, etc.)
- Load planning and routing
- Driver management
CUSTOMER
- Ensuring order accuracy
- Customer communication
- Calls / telesales
- Merchandising management
- Customer service
SALES
- Scheduled customer visits
- Collect orders and promote sales
- Manage promotions
- Seek new business
ADMIN
- Time and Attendance
- Overtime control
- Assist with overdue accounts
- Staff and operational planning
