Debtor/ Accounts Administrator

Qualifications:

Matric Certificate (Grade 12)

Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, or similar

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years experience in a debtors/accounts receivable role
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Google Documents
• Experience with Microsoft Great Plains (advantageous)
• Solid understanding of debtors processes, invoicing, and reconciliations
• Ability to manage large volumes of accounts and meet strict deadlines
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Strong organisational and time management skills

Experience & Skills:

• Full-function debtors experience, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations
• Experience managing a large debtor book and corporate accounts
• Handling debtor receipts, direct deposits, and account allocations
• Experience with intercompany balancing (e.g. Botswana & Zimbabwe)
• Interbranch journal processing
• Month-end and year-end financial processing
• Managing and resolving account queries
• Proven ability to follow up on outstanding payments and reduce debtor days
